Summary
Only Will remains where he is, still busy putting some finishing touches on his sketch, lost in thought.
Mike's gaze wanders over to him, almost involuntarily. He eyes the curve of his neck as Will bends over the piece of paper in front of him: some of his locks are stuck there, right next to a drop of sweat that runs down the length of his vertebrae before it disappears behind the collar of his t-shirt.
He wants to walk over and reach out, brush his hands through the hair at his nape, but he stops himself before the urge that had sprung up so suddenly can become more than a passing thought as a sudden chill races through him.
It's just the breeze, it has to be.It's the summer of '87. The military is all over Hawkins, Vecna and what he's done hangs over the party like a storm cloud, and Mike Wheeler feels things he doesn't know how to name.

Summary
The uneven cobblestone beneath Zoro's boots forces him to keep his gaze directed at the ground. In the sea of sandals and slippers, Sanji's brogues stand out like a fish on land.
He comes to a stop right next to him, deliberately knocking his shoes against the cook's in the process to catch his attention.
It works, and Sanji says: “My pack mule has arrived!”, in a celebratory tone to the man in dungarees across from him as he hands him a small pile of coins. Thanks to Nami's intervention (read: coercion), Zoro joins Sanji on his grocery run. PWP (as in: Pining Without Plot) ensues.

Summary
Opened like a book, Sanji picks out one of the cigarettes the case houses at random and quickly places it between his lips before letting the case disappear in his jacket pocket like a magician vanishing a coin, its presence almost seeming like a trick of the light.
The way he shields the flame that the lighter produces with one hand as he brings it closer to his mouth seems similarly practiced, years of habit turning the finding of the right angle to protect the fire from the wind into a thing of intuition instead of careful calculation.Zoro has a Thing (capital T) about Sanji's smoking habit. (And about Sanji himself.)
(Or: 4 times Zoro watches Sanji smoke and doesn't Get It + 1 time Zoro actually understands what is going on (and his own feelings).) -

Summary
As Chuuya reaches over to put out his cigarette in the ashtray, readying himself to pick up his things and turn around to go back inside, he sees the man looking up at him.
His posture is the same as before, slouching and relaxed, his hands in his pants pockets, one of his legs bent at the knee as it rests against the wall behind him. But there's a tension in his face illuminated by the street lamp only a few steps away from him, there's a concentrated furrow between his brows half-hidden behind his hair that Chuuya hadn't noticed before.Dazai works at a cafe.
Chuuya just moved to a new flat. Its balcony faces the very same cafe's back door.
Of course, they meet. Somehow, they fall in love. -

Summary
“What is wrong with you?” He hisses his question with enough force that Dazai's eyes widen for a fraction of a second, an emotion flashing through them that Chuuya has no time to try and decipher before it's replaced by an incensed sparkle.
A new threat to Yokohama's safety springs up after the Guild's defeat and compels the Armed Detective Agency and the Port Mafia to work together to neutralize it.
Overall, the operation seems to be going well. Double Black's reunion on the other hand? Not so much.Series

Summary
stories set in a vague dazai stays with the port mafia au, in no particular order
I'm working out what this AU looks like as I go, I don't really have a fixed plan yet. For now, it'll probably continue to consist of small snippets instead of interconnected stories with an actual plot, I'm sorry :(((
