    Taunt and Loveshot had been friends since they were young, since the cards had first decided their fates. And, of course, Loveshot especially knew of the crush that Taunt'd had on her from the very start.

    So when the first mine exploded and the civilians were forced to hide in the bunker, the ranger had always made a point to give them their love whenever she could. She knew her fate was coming since the beginning, after all, when her card had warned her, way back then, of that impending face-off with the rogue droid.

    But Taunt didn't want to believe it when they found her on the ground outside the doors. And they especially didn't want to believe it when Caretaker failed to wake her up.

    Even if they know that she's still in there, fighting for her life, they find it harder and harder to keep themself going every day.
