Who the hell could make a mark like this?

When Stiles’ Soulbite manifests on his neck and makes it look like he’s been mauled by an animal, he takes to spending most of his time hiding it in the preserve. It would be the perfect haven if it wasn’t for Derek Hale being such a creeper.
Or, 5 times Derek stalks Stiles in the preserve, and 1 time he stalks him in his room.
(This was the original idea for my fic Cloaked in Gold.)

The same cannot be said for his skill with a long-range rifle (but he's no one's weapon).

Summary
Stiles opens his eyes, and suddenly everything feels real.
It's harsh, harsher than anything he's felt in years. The lights above him are a blinding white, the tabletop under his back too cold, his sweat sticky on his skin. There are faces leaning over him, wide eyes and concerned words too grating on his ears.
He closes his eyes again. Just a moment ago he'd had Sam in his arms, the little pup sniffling weakly against his shoulder as he rocked the boy back and forth. There had been a thunderstorm in the middle of the night, and it had woken the boys up. He and Derek had to go into their room to calm them down, hold them and rock them back to sleep. Aaron had already passed out on Derek's shoulder, and he'd been putting the boy back into his bed. Sam was fussy, was always more fussy between the two of them, more afraid of lightning and thunder, and Stiles was just whispering something to Derek about getting blackout curtains for the boys' room.
And now he's here.

“Tell me you’re not seriously with Derek Hale.”
Stiles pretends to check that the guitar is in tune (of course it is, they tune all of these before he shows up), and then makes a face like he has no idea what Scott is talking about. To sell it, he says as much out loud. “Who?”
“Who?” Scott’s eyebrows disappear into his hairline, his mouth falling open in shock that Stiles would be so bold as to deny it. “Stiles, that guy is an asshole.”
“That’s fine,” Stiles waves it off, “because I’m not with him, so it doesn’t matter.”

Summary
One day a year, every year, for the past seven years, Stiles has a Pixar marathon. On one random Saturday in April (never on the actual anniversary, he couldn’t do it on the actual anniversary), he shuts himself in his room, boots up his laptop and starts with Toy Story.
But as has become typical in Beacon Hills, nothing goes to plan. Which is how Stiles ends up with a feral Derek Hale cuddling him while WALL-E plays in the background.

Seriously, he felt like he was lucky to be alive. Nobody wanted to turn around in their empty apartment and find someone standing a few feet away! That was nightmare-inducing! Especially for someone like Stiles, who’d grown up with things trying to eat him. Or maul him. Or maim him.
He had a stressful childhood, okay, jump-scares were not his thing.
