Summary
It all starts with a dumb joke.
Ashe works an office job, answering calls, writing emails. It's boring, but they have to save up for their restaurant somehow. It's boring, but Dedue's allowed to call. He double checks which food he needs to get for their cats, what they should have for dinner, if Ashe would like a bath when he gets home… silly things like that. In truth, it's just an excuse to hear his boyfriend's voice.
Hence, when Dedue calls in and asks to speak to Ashe Ubert, said Ashe Ubert tells a dumb joke. "Of course, sir. You are speaking to Ashe Ubert." He giggles.
And Dedue gets a boner. He tries not to think about it - Ashe has probably forgotten about it already - yet still Dedue's mind wanders.

Waking up from a horrifying nightmare isn't something unusual for Yakumo. And tonight, a dream where he accidentally killed Eiden left him sleepless and anxious. He wants to seek Eiden's company for comfort, but the pleasure-filled noises coming from Eiden's bedroom change his mind. After all, he refuses to disturb Eiden's time with Quincy.
He's ready to spend the rest of the night in the kitchen, all cold and alone, cooking something or preparing meals for tomorrow. Hopefully working on something might distract him. But to his surprise, he's given a better outcome by Quincy and Eiden; to sleep together with them.
