Professor Vidal has always hated Professor Harkness. Agatha's teaching style was wild, chaotic, a party for each class. Rio on the other hand felt a classroom was a sacred space to learn. Not to have dance parties or comedy shows in. The two were opposites, enemies in each other's eyes.
However, one night- Rio finds herself crying in the ice cream aisle after being stood up by her date. To make matters worse? Agatha Harkness finds her there.

Summary
Their eyes meet through the window, the stranger's immediately widening.
Agatha realizes, belatedly, that she's standing in nothing but her underwear. It's such a usual thing for her to do every summer that she didn't even think about it. Well, usually, there's no pervert watching her from her garden.
The woman's mouth parts slightly at the sight, her brown eyes never leaving hers.
Agatha recovers first. "Hey, you! What do you think you're—"
That's as far as she gets.
Distracted, the woman doesn't notice the large rock in her path. The wheelbarrow comes to a stop, and the brunette's balance wavers. And then, with an almost comical inevitability, she tips forward, falling headfirst into the dirt and weeds.
Or: Lilia hires Rio to take care of Agatha's garden. The only problem is that she forgot to tell her about it. Inspired by @evgar_'s latest fanart.

“Here,” Rio said, standing and shrugging off her flannel overshirt. Of course she was wearing layers. Of course.
“I'm fine,” Agatha said automatically, even as a cold shiver ran through her.
Rio just raised an eyebrow and held out the shirt. “You're dripping on my hay.”
“Your hay will survive.” But Agatha took the shirt, trying not to notice how warm it was.
Nicky desperately craved this dusty hellscape of a ranch for summer camp, and because Agatha's not about to leave her son alone with a bunch of horse people, she rents a cottage nearby. And here comes Rio, wearing an incredibly unserious pair of Wrangler jeans.
