Summary
Kinn moaned, tugging a little on his handcuffed wrist. The arm weighing down the other cuff was limp, and Kinn sighed as he slowly pushed himself up to his elbows, then his palms, wincing at the rush of blood from his head as he did so. Once he sat upright, he took a few deep breaths and waited for his head to stop spinning, then reached out to try shaking Porsche awake.
But when he wrapped his hand over Porsche’s bicep, the coldness of his skin made Kinn freeze.
“Porsche!?” Kinn twisted to get to his knees and shook Porsche. The movement uncurled the bodyguard and he splayed out, still limp.
Still cold.
At the bottom of a ravine in the middle of the woods, Kinn wakes up handcuffed to a cold corpse.
He soon learns he should have paid just a little more attention to his hot bodyguard.
