"I wasn't sleeping," Kuni slurs, leaning into the touch, "just resting my eyes."
Heizou's exaggeratedly drawn-out hum of faux agreement fades into a low giggle. It sounds so pretty. Heizou always sounds so pretty, looks so pretty. Of course he does.
"I'm sure you weren't," says he, a hint of amusement in his silk-smooth voice, and Kuni hums sleepily.
Heizou threads his fingers through Kuni's hair, gentle and loving as though petting a sleeping kitten. Kuni melts further under his duvet, even feels himself begin to slip back into the blissful slumber, until Heizou speaks again.
"Can I sleep here tonight? With you?"
Kuni wants to sleep. Heizou doesn't quite let him.

“You could… you know…” Childe breathes, voice barely above a whisper. He looks down and Scaramouche’s eyes are boring into him, so violet it’s almost unnatural, alert, awake, alive.
“I could what exactly, Tartaglia?”
Childe sighs then drops to his knees so he’s kneeling in front of Scaramouche. His hands creep to the scarf at his neck, he tugs it down just a bit to reveal a strip of milky white skin. He doesn’t miss the way that Scaramouche’s eyes go wide—pupils big and dilated.
“You’re hungry right? That’s what’s wrong with you.” Childe says.

Soldiers are going missing. The Balladeer is acting strangely. Childe is on the case.

“Sounds rough,” Venti says blithely. “I'm sorry to hear that.”
Wanderer closes his eyes, and counts backwards from ten.
Written for the prompt: omega topping alpha through heat or rut — Teetering on the brink of his rut, all Wanderer wants to do is finish his task and go home, but the omega god Barbatos seems to have other plans.
