Season 2 AU.

Billy instinctively tightened his hold on Byers, unconsciously beginning to back away from the shadowy thing that was growing darker and taller by the second. He'd nearly been driven insane by the intangible sense of danger that had haunted him since moving to Hawkins, but there was no relief in finally seeing the thing that had set off all his alarm bells.
