Summary
It wasn't supposed to take this bad of a turn. Dogwarts works together, they stick together, they don't break off from the group and they certainly don't do it without telling someone.
But god forbid Ren listen to Martyn when he fusses like the cautious man he is. No matter how many times Martyn says it, says to be careful, wrapping carefully stitched wounds back up and seeing them dampen with blood till wrap twice, wrap thrice, and it's gone under the cloth.
No matter how many times he says it, Ren always kisses his forehead and tells him he's too paranoid. That he'd never died by a fault of his own, once to the folly of an enemy and the other by Martyn's own hand. And after a deceleration like the one they made that day-- how could Ren ever return to death if it wasn't with Martyn?

Martyn woke back up to something tugging at his arm. His eyes shot open as he was pulled into the air and thrown into a box, “Where am I?!” He spat out without thinking. There was a rat in front of him. The rat seemed to be wearing red clothing and sunglasses? Odd.
“Greeting, Young Rat!! I am Captain Jaque Levy Larat!!”

Summary
Martyn knows the way Ren's wolf nature craves raw flesh. The way it craves to hunt down his pray, rip it apart, devour it's flesh.
He knows how much the wolf in Ren savors the taste of human flesh other that of animals.
Ren and Martyn learned a lot about each other on quite nights in 3rd life, words spoken in whispers as they laid in a shared bed, hidden by the walls of Dogwarts, tangled up in each other's limbs.

Summary
Ren walks towards the thrown his father sits upon. The glamour concealed axe in his hands weighs heavy in his grip.
He stops next to his father's thrown, his smaller one next to it.
Ren's eyes catch that or Martyn's blue from where the blond stands in the crowd in the thrown room.
Martyn nods and Ren looks back towards his father, dropping the his glamour on the axe.
He swings the axe, chopping the head off his father's head, continuing generations of sons killing their fathers for the thrown.
Blood sprays his face, he lets go of the axe now lodged in the back of the thrown.
He pulls the crown off the king's body-less head, "THE RED KING HAS FALLEN!"
or, Martyn and Ren, one human, one dog hybrid with royal status. How will they navigate their world with their unusual love and how it came to be in the first place.
