Summary
All written under the guise that: Rita never called Dexter back and gave him a second chance. Because he sees no benefit in continuing on without her and the kids in his life, things take a dramatic turn when he comes out to Debra as The Bay Harbor Butcher.
This also leans into the idea of things that quiet the voices in his head. Lila was able to do it… why can’t he find someone that does that for him? Someone that has that affect that isn’t completely toxic?
