Summary
It's been ten years after the war. Hemione Granger and Severus Snape work together in the Department of Mysteries. Upon returning from Christmas shopping that the two of them did together, Hermione sees an obviously romantically intended gift to an unknown woman, and realizes two things: first — they accidently switched a bag or two, and second does not even bare being thought of… Kind of. Probably.

And not necessarily in that order. Nothing but a bit of snarky fluffy and a lot of THOSE moments (nudge nudge, wink wink). Takes place eight years post-Hogwarts with a very much adult Hermione and our favourite snappy Severus. One-shot.

Summary
Years after the war, Severus finally lived his perfect life: he had a new nice job at St Mungo's, a new nice house, even a new nice friend. But all nice things, as they wont, must end at some point… In Severus' case, it usually meant some sort of world-shattering catastrophe occurring. Which it, naturally, did one summer night, when he was woken up by a frantic colleague and summoned back to the hospital. Who's to say, however, that nothing good could ever come of it?
Weeks later, as Severus looked into Hermione's lovely, loving, happy gaze, directed at him, and felt her small fingers gently stroke his hair, he couldn't help but agree that “perfect” was a relative term indeed.
