Harry can't consent, but the Ministry don't care and want to sell him to Lucius Malfoy. As usual, Snape comes to the rescue of the Boy Who Lived, but he has his own problems. The war had broken them all.

Summary
AU that takes place after Jin Zixuan's death.
The whole cultivation world either assumes Wei Wuxian to be dead or plans to make it that way. A secret plan put into place by Wen Qing and Lan Wanji after the death of Jin Zixuan is the only way to keep Wei Wuxian from the slaughter of the remaining sects. Lan Wangji hides an unwilling Wei Wuxian with him in Cloud Recesses to save his life. No escape, just Wei Wuxian confined to Lan Wangji's living quarters.
TLDR: Lan Wangji does, in a way, get Wei Wuxian to come back to Gusu with him. The only problem is Wei Wuxian doesn't know about it until he's locked in.

Before him, Jiang Wanyin stares at him as if he had just spoken profanely, and his mouth is slightly agape when he pushes himself out of his seat. What follows, unsurprisingly, is anger. “You wouldn’t dare,” he hisses. When Lan Wangji is about to state that he certainly would, Jiang Wanyin continues, “If such a thing were to happen, you can ask him the right way, or not at all!”
He blinks.
Then, he feels his ears start burning.
Ignoring the elevated pace at which his heart thumps against his chest, he takes his indignation and pours it into the gaze he levels Jiang Wanyin with. “As a disciple—”
“No,” is the brusque interruption. “If he is to be a disciple, it will be of the Jiang sect, where he belongs.”
When minor clans put forth a petition to the Chief Cultivator to deliver the Yiling Laozu to be tried for his continued demonic cultivation activity—with a not-so-friendly addition that demands verification for Lady Jiang’s resurrection—Jiang Cheng and Lan Wangji butt heads over how best to protect Wei Wuxian from such unwanted accusations.

Flushing in embarrassment, Wei Ying hurries over to A-Yuan and crouches to place his hands on his shoulders. “A-Yuan, that’s enough,” he says. “Sorry, Lan Zhan, he used to go to a different bookstore where they host regular storytimes, I think he thinks you’re the designated storyteller for the day—”
He gets to his feet, holding A-Yuan at his hip, and glances up to look at Lan Zhan. It’s an awful, terrible, horrible mistake. This close, every detail of his face is utterly inescapable.
“Story time,” says A-Yuan, lower lip wobbling dangerously.
Wei Ying glances around, finding people staring curiously at the scene unfolding before them. “A-Yuan,” he hisses urgently. “We need to go. I’ll tell you a story on the way home, okay?”
“Do you really need to go?”
Wei Ying starts at Lan Zhan’s voice. He’s still looking steadily at him, an unreadable expression in his eyes.
(Seven years after running away from home to pursue a story that would expose one of the biggest media scandals in recent years, Wei Ying runs into the last person he’s expecting to see at a quaint, forgotten bookstore he hasn’t set foot in for a very long time.)

The dreams— colors and shapes made from the wreckages of Arthur’s memories, as meaningless as words like loyalty and friendship— begin with the gentle questioning of something uncertain of its own right to exist.
And Arthur answers the question the only way he can— with his mind turned away from the thoughts that filled him at night, facing the morning with nothing more than a frown and a promise not to think of his dream again.

Summary
DON'T BE PUT OFF BY THE STORY LENGTH. It's meant to be read in small bits.
This NSFW gay male story is about the sexual awakening of a teenage Harry Potter and encounters with his schoolmates and a couple of school-aged OCs. All chapters have sexual content. The plot exists mostly to string together and set up the sexual situations (i.e., this is mostly smut, pwp, plot what plot). You could read many chapters as a one-shot and miss very little. So use the chapters titles for clues on that.
Keywords as well as character pairings and such indicate something that occurs in at least one of the chapters but isn't necessarily an overarching theme of the whole story.
Latest chapter #41, posted Feb 2026. More still to come.
I welcome any constructive feedback, suggestions for the plot, and illustrations of the story. I've had one such illustration already.

So unless you want Emmy to pluck out this lion’s eyes I suggest you tell him to bugger off.” He snapped. Merlin was inclined to tell Arthur to bugger off himself, but was immediately distracted by one word.
“Emmy?” He repeated and smiled. “You did name him.”

This is not as light and fluffy as it sounds.
The Ministry is rife with corruption, the Muggleborn Registration is at peak popularity, and Lucius Malfoy is Minister for Magic. Harry is determined to get to the bottom of it- something has gone wrong here.

That is, until he crashes into Draco Malfoy. After that Harry learns there is freedom in commitment, relief in responsibility and that happiness can only be found if you allow other people to rely on you. He doesn’t once consider the risks.
This is a story about loving someone so much you lose yourself entirely, but also about being loved so much you almost forget about being lost.
