Summary
Where pirates and mariners subjected the sea to an endless battle of control, Lee Donghyuck lives in a small, remote village in a small house at the very top of the mountain furthest from the sea. Having a father who's sole mission is to protect his family from the atrocities of the sea will often lead to seclusion, but Donghyuck doesn't mind. He doesn't have any interest in the heartless affairs of the sea or the endless bloodshed, and only longs for a home he was once at. He's learned to control his yearn for the sea and has grown to love the peaceful life he's created for himself on top of that small hill.
But when pirates attack his village and leave a larger damage than normal, Donghyuck is finally forced to face reality and what the world actually is among the very people his father set to keep him from.

Summary
Taeyong glares at everyone watching, projecting his voice to tell them, “alright, the show is over. Clear out before I start taking House points.”
“Oh, how scary,” Ten coos from next to him, leaning on his hip and watching Taeyong with a heady gaze.
Taeyong sighs as he stares at the Slytherin, the headache manifesting in the back of his head coming forth fullforce.
[or: Taeyong quite literally goes falling for Ten and finds his life becomes that more interesting-and headache inducing if he's honest.]

Summary
Hanbin and Jaehyun kissed at a party in January. Then Hanbin ghosted him, for various reasons he's yet to admit, but it was supposed to be fine seeing as how they wouldn't see each other again. That is until Jaehyun becomes a counselor at the same day-camp Hanbin works at.
Well, a whole summer together is definitely one way to get to know a person and develop a relationship, that's for sure. Or this is just some ultimate form of punishment.

Summary
Mark is captain of the Chargers, Neo Cultural Institute of Technology's baseball team, and while the team held some of the largest influence over the high school baseball scene some eight years ago, they don't even have a baseball field anymore, the place now cleared out as an extra practice field for soccer. But Mark's determined to establish their place back amongst the top schools for baseball and regain the status they lost.
The only issue? Na Jaemin, captain of the Eagles, SM's baseball team that's won the Championship for the past five years and one of the top schools to go to if you want to win and be scouted. He's one of the best pitchers when it comes to high school players, if not the best pitcher in their district, his parents are crazy rich, people at SM say he's sort of an ice prince, he's rumored to have a spot at an international college as a starter on their team, and he's definitely not someone Mark needs to be involving himself with.
If Mark decides to drop out, that's his business and his business alone.

Summary
“Do not stare at me like that.”
Mark raises an eyebrow. “Like what?”
“Like you’re willing to defy everything you know for me, all because I speak your name,” he explains.
“Didn’t I tell you that I would do that a long while ago?” Mark asks, sliding his hand away so it trails down Jaemin’s exposed skin, lighting a trail of goosebumps and turning his breath ragged. “Do you still not believe me, Jaemin?”
“I’m starting to,” he admits. “I think I do.”
[or: Jaemin takes the steps to learn what it truly means to love.]

Summary
Turns out everything he was previously worrying about are the least of his issues. Not when he gets down to the breakfast hall the next morning and gets a lap full of a smiley, overly-touchy Taemin. Jongin stares at Taemin who’s smiling widely at him, seated comfortably on his lap. The whole team plus his friends are staring at them, various levels of shock on their faces as they watch.
He looks over at Junmyeon for any help, but the seventh year is staring at him helplessly.
“Where’s Jinki when you need him?” He mutters, getting up from the table while scanning the dinning hall.
[or: Jongin is definitely not supposed to like his best friend, but then Taemin has to go and accidentally take a love potion. Jongin really doesn’t know what happens after that.]

Summary
Jaemin hums exaggeratedly, nodding his head. “Right, right. Superhero boyfriends kicking ass and taking names, hm?”
Mark scowls, turning away from Jaemin’s fierce grin. He and Haechan are friends at most. And he doesn’t have a crush on the other superhero, he just admires the fact he’s not leaving the city to only Mark’s hands and is immensely grateful for the help he provides. Plus, it was only four months ago that Mark wanted to pummel him to the ground for coming to New York and stealing his thunder.
[or: Mark gains a partner and a new place to call home all after: taking a hiatus, developing two different crushes, getting kidnapped, and then coming to terms with a few things. The good stuff apparently.]

Summary
“Do not go so beneath yourself to beg for my attention, Your Highness.”
“It is not beneath me to wish for your attention to be on me,” Mark tells him carefully, truthfulness held strong in his eyes. “You’re my husband. Of course I’m going to want your attention on me at every moment of the day.”
[or: Jaemin takes the steps to learn what devotion truly means.]

Summary
It's been years and if he had a dollar for every time he's thought about, or wanted to, confess to Mark, he'd have enough money to put down a payment for a house. Thing is, Mark is oblivious as shit and despite how obvious Donghyuck is, he still hasn't caught onto the fact his best friend is irreversibly in love with him. Donghyuck wants to call him stupid, tell him to open his eyes wider, but-
But Donghyuck is also just a coward.
He's not too proud of it.
[or: it's Mark, it's always been Mark, and will always be Mark—it just takes Mark a while to figure that out.]

Kibum doesn't understand how someone can end up in the infirmary as much as Choi Minho does when he's one of the best chasers Hogwarts can turn out. Kibum doesn't understand it, but that doesn't mean he gets out of treating the Gryffindor's wounds whenever he comes in looking for Kibum to patch him up.
[or: Choi Minho always ends up in the infirmary and Kibum doesn't understand why he's always the one tending to him.]

Summary
“This actually works perfectly,” Jaemin says with a bright grin.
Mark furrows his eyebrows, going to ask why his horrible predicament is perfect when he sees Gabrielle behind Jaemin, walking in their direction, and shit, she’s walking to them.
He has another one of those what the fuck are you even doing Mark Lee, just stop already moments and reaches out for Jaemin. He grabs him by the neck and shoulder, only seeing the other’s eyes widen before he presses his lips to Jaemin’s.
He stands there for a second, trying to register what he’s even doing, and Jaemin grabs him by the hips, stumbling forwards and inadvertently pressing him to his car. Mark gasps sharply, opening his eyes to find Jaemin’s closed, and Jaemin presses his lips to his, starting to move them, and well, it’s really over right then and there.
[or: in an attempt to get an admirer to back off because Mark Lee sucks at communicating, he does something completely unthinkable and what he hopes isn’t sexual harassment, and finds himself in a fake relationship with someone unexpected, but he doesn’t really know how to stop it.]

Summary
Donghyuck isn't expecting much when he learns that there's a transfer from Canada. Not when his friends push for them to become friends or when he runs into the boy in the practice room filling the space up with pretty music from his guitar. He's got things to do for his sophomore year which will hopefully make his life ten times easier. He isn't expecting much, and yet, he gets something he never saw coming, but it's not like he's mad about it.
[or: Donghyuck's never been to Canada, but he still finds a home there]
