Of course she knew of Sister Barbara. Kind, bubbly, couldn’t hurt a fly. Of course, that was three and a half years ago, before she disappeared into the night, so Rosaria’s intel was likely outdated.
The Barbara that left is a far cry from the one that came back just as suddenly, silent like a shadow where once a song always embraced her steps. Though she would never admit it, Rosaria can’t help but feel the slightest bit of pity for the girl who has become much more like her than she’d ever wanted.
(There is blood on Barbara’s hands, and no amount of water could ever wash it away. But freedom was not won only by helping to heal those on the battlefield, and she got what she was looking for in Snezhnaya anyways. A single name before the bounty on her head became too much.

Summary
They always say ‘zero to hero’, but as someone who was literally named Zero and had been trained since birth to be a hero, Jaz can tell you that it’s not that great on either side of the coin.
Not many people actually know about Jaz, her power and spot on the team being what they were, and eventually, while her siblings were out of thought as the Umbrella Academy broke up, she became a memory lost to time even to the ones raised among her.

Summary
Wei Wuxian, the Yiling Patriarch, demonic cultivator and perpetrator of the massacre at Qiongqi Way, destroys the Stygian Tiger Amulet three days after his nephew’s one-month ceremony.
His family's safety has been assured: Jiang Cheng is in command of Lotus Pier, Jiang Yanli, Jin Zixuan, and Jin Ling are ensconced in Koi Tower. The Wen Remnants will be secluded and guarded in the Cloud Recesses, where Wei Wuxian trusts Lan Wangji to look after them, even when Lan Qiren disapproves.
Wei Wuxian destroys the amulet before negotiations over his own life start, which may, in retrospect, have been foolishly shortsighted.

In which Wei Wuxian survives a negotiated cease-fire, the Yin Iron is destroyed, and being alive when you expected to be dead is much harder than anyone expected.

Feels a little bad, but he’s going to have to read one, to make sure. Make sure it’s good enough?
