“Still, Lord Phainon, a marriage proposal?” Castorice asked, her voice tinged with quiet incredulity.
“What were you thinking?!” Hyacine exclaimed, turning towards Phainon in disbelief.
Phainon let out a sheepish laugh, scratching the back of his head. “Ma-maybe he just…misunderstood? I mean, who accepts a proposal from someone they've just met?” He bit his lip, cheeks heating, clearly mortified.
“Right…” Cipher rolled her eyes. “The real question is who proposes to someone they’ve just met?” She paused, blinked, then pointed out, “Actually, sounds like you’re meant for each other if we put it that way.”
Aglaea raised a brow, while Tribbie covered her mouth to hide a smile.
TLDR: Phainon says the wrong thing. Mydeimos says yes.

Freelance videographer Mydei took a last-minute job from a friend who promised it'd be "worth his time." Just a routine shoot, or so he was told.
Then he walked in.
Phainon. The Deliverer. Barely dressed. The very same model Mydei whispered about into a pillow.
Phainon had noticed. The flushed ears. The way his hands trembled behind the camera. So he pushed it.
"Turn on your camera," he said with a wicked grin. "Thought you'd enjoy a front row seat—no need to imagine anymore."
Or, Phainon insisted the cameras keep rolling long after the shoot, giving his favorite fanboy more than enough footage for those quiet nights alone.

Phainon rolls his eyes at him playfully. But he leans closer and nuzzles his nose against Mydei's cheek. "Can I kiss you?", he asks.
The prince lifts a judgmental eyebrow and stares at the bloody ground they’re standing on. "Here?"
"Yes. I know it's not exactly romantic but I really want to kiss you right now, Mydeimos." Phainon pleads and nuzzles their noses together again.
It's hard to deny his Deliverer anything. So he doesn't.

Summary
Mydei sniffed, his eyebrows furrowing, and his jaw went slack in realization. A subtly sweet, musky scent permeated the air, the Chimera hybrid looking up at him through lidded eyes, lips slightly parted, with his head tilted as though baring his neck to him.
The implication of the position suddenly became painfully apparent. Mydei flustered—careful not to make any sudden movements as he settled back onto his haunches. He still didn't fully trust that the chimera wouldn't lunge at him and attempt to tear out his throat if given the opportunity.
Or, that would have been the case—if he hadn't noticed the hybrid deliberately spreading his legs for him instead. Pale thighs splayed wide in silent invitation, with just the spade-shaped tip of his tail coyly hiding his sex from view, the moonlight filtering in through the foliage caught on the slick sticking to the hybrid's inner-thighs—
"This—" Mydei began, wheezing, "Your nest was—We... disturbed your nest."
Titans. Mydei shouldn't have answered the page.
Mydei's expertise starts and ends with the wildlife... So why is he cohabiting with a chimera hybrid on the brink of heat who keeps trying to seduce him?
