Summary
It’s on the eve of the one year anniversary of their dear friend’s death that the small group of friends from Hawkins, California arrived to Camp Night. The newly bought sleepaway camp that was in severe need of new staff since it’s grand reopening. Legend says there was a kid that died at the camp ten years ago on that very day. The teens choose to ignore the coincidence, focus on having fun, getting laid, and making money before they head off to college after the summer. Unfortunately for them, something sinister has other ideas.

Summary: Eddie makes his final phone call but it's not Reefer Rick that picks up. In exchange for a few chill pills, Rick's sensitive daughter agrees to harbor his burning ship until things calm down, but she's more aware of things than most people in Hawkins, and the time he spends in hiding doesn't pass in a rowboat.

She had grown up with Bradley Bradshaw. She had loved Bradley Bradshaw, and had in return felt the gift of what it was like to be loved by him. However, she had also lost Bradley Bradshaw. Had to watch from afar as he became "Rooster", desperate to emulate his Dad while she had just been desperate to get out of Miramar and create a new story for herself, not wanting to follow in her family's footsteps. This is what had torn the two lovers apart, and she could never forgive him (or herself) for how things ended. It had haunted her everyday since. She was never quite the same, but she learned to live a half-life without him. 6 years later, and they had not spoken. She had found her own path and was pleasantly shocked to discover that the small military town and bar she had been trying to escape was actually what made her happiest. She graduated with her business degree, and after getting experience, came home to help her mom, Penny Benjamin, run the bar. Everything was going good, and if she squinted her eyes everything was almost perfect. Almost. But the Hard Deck never did anything in halves, and, for the record, neither did her and Bradley. He walked back through the doors of their bar, and her life began again.
