Summary
On a stolen motorcycle, Jesse McCree flees the scene of the train robbery and the ghosts of his past, ignoring the call back to Overwatch. Genji Shimada has kept tabs on his brother Hanzo ever since their reunion that spring, but when Hanzo disappears without a trace, Genji enlists his old Blackwatch partner McCree to help look for him. McCree travels across Japan, following the clues surrounding Hanzo's disappearance, until he comes across one big problem. Big. Really big. Like... dragon-sized.
Takes place immediately following McCree's Reunion short and up to the Overwatch 2 reveal short.

Summary
Everyone is born with a red string tied around their pinky which connects them to their soulmate. The only string you can't see is your own. Some believe if you witness a soulmate meeting and don't tell them, you will be cursed to never meet your own soulmate. Others believe you should remain quiet and let the two figure it out for themselves, for it is fate's job to intervene.
Hanzo is convinced he lost his string, and therefore his soulmate, when he raised his sword against Genji. He feels undeniable attraction to Jesse McCree upon first meeting, but skirts around his feelings until he feels as if he's going to spontaneously combust. Meanwhile, why is every Overwatch agent obsessed with soulmates? Hanzo can't have a single conversation with any other agent without mention of soulmates—except Jesse.

It was unexplainable really, Chris' ability to turn into a wolf. To swap out his skin for that of another.
To transform into a creature far different than what the movies say he should be like.
That instead of becoming an uncontrollable beast. A monster driven into a wild frenzy under the light of the full moon until he was sick with bloodlust and hysteria, overcome with mania and overwhelmed by instinct. He was able to control the change. Was able to slip between one form and another whenever he wanted to.
Well, unless he got himself injured.
And given his luck? That exactly what he did. And in the presence of Leon Kennedy no less.
