Summary
Hermione Granger would do anything to ensure her best friends safety and triumph over Voldemort. Even asking to spend more time with the snarky Potions Master. She had not however realized what that would mean for her in the long run and what she would get herself into. And as a mutual attraction becomes part of the equation things start to get complicated.
Starts in sixth year but differs a lot from the original story as I try to fix everything that always bugged me when I read the books. Hermione is obviously much younger than Severus and in real live I wouldn't be a fan of teacher/student relationships BUT this is not real live so if this isn't your cup of tea, don't read it :)SS/HG for ever!

Summary
Hermione goes back to Hogwarts to continue her education and obtain her NEWTs. There she begins private lessons with re-instated potions professor, Severus Snape, who seems to have changed a lot since the Battle of Hogwarts. A friendship blossoms, and possibly something more? After she graduates, Hermione begins to work at Hogwarts, where Severus still works.
A/N: This story will switch back and forth between Hermione’s POV and Severus’ POV, but all will be written in the 3rd person POV except for their inner thoughts which will usually be written in italics. Since Hermione was born on September 19th, 1979, she will soon be 19 years old when this story takes place, so she is both of-age in the wizarding world as we all the muggle world. While most of this story is canon-compliant, a few key elements aren’t, most importantly that Severus Snape survived Nagini’s attack.

Summary
The beach vacation photo hit the celebrity gossip circuit like a tidal wave:
Severus Snape — shirtless and emerging from the sea like a selkie who had laid claim to his mate, had one bikini-clad Hermione Granger slung over his shoulder, in a fireman-carry.
Behind them, their seven children trailed, looking utterly unimpressed. As if watching their shirtless father carry their mother like a caveman was just any other day.
Harry Potter's statement to the press pool followed:
“Hermione Granger-Snape is my best friend. And, yes, she has been married to Severus Snape for the better part of a decade. And, yes, I mean *that* Severus Snape. They have seven children together. If you weren't aware of all this by now, that’s not their fault. They haven't been hiding, they've just been living the quiet life they've built on purpose. And I think they'd appreciate it if we let them keep it."
The wizarding public was very much NOT in agreement on that last part.
