Life was just an endless cycle. Nothing changed at the end of the day. No matter what anyone did, the Earth still orbited, the sun still shone, the shortest day was on December 21st, the longest on June 21st.
Izuku knew his actions never affected that. No matter how big an impact he wanted to make, everything would still be the same in retrospect.
