Bucky is slowly settling into the world after officially joining the Avengers and moving into the Tower with the rest of the team. Bucky could come up with metaphors for how he felt all day but nothing compared to the pure unbridled yearning he felt for the man who was kind enough to harbor him. Bucky didn’t deserve that love. And even if he did, Clint didn’t deserve Bucky’s problems. There had to have been a mistake somewhere. Whatever god was looking over his life must’ve misplaced his feelings for a childhood fling into Clint Barton and now he was staring at the wrong back muscles cooking him breakfast. There was absolutely no way this was going to end well.

A spark started in Clint’s heart. One he thought would’ve been stomped out a while ago. He watched Bucky smile to himself and then glance out of the window, “The snow is lifting. We should get a move on.”
Clint snapped his head back to the dashboard, “Ah, yeah.” He started the car. It took a few tries, the motor barely functioning in the cold. The heat began to circulate through the car as Clint turned, finding his way to the main road again. Now was no time to pine over unrequited feelings. The Soldier steps forward and raises his metal hand, rests it in a loose grip around that irresistible throat. Barton's eyes flicker closed, and his pulse stutters.
"You want to fuck me, too," the Soldier observes.

A chance encounter in a dumpster at 3am solves the no friends problem in the form of a one-eyed golden retriever called Lucky, who then promptly solves the no job problem by inadvertently introducing Clint to the idea of walking dogs for a living.
Except there's this unfairly hot, unfairly competent, surly, sexy, maddening competition in the form of one Bucky Barnes, and Clint isn't sure if he wants to throw a tennis ball at his head, steal all his clients, or start humping his leg.
