Summary
Kenny whines again, and Kyle decides he likes him like this— unguarded. He usually has to work for the whines, assure Kenny he likes him sweet, get Kenny worked up and pitiful before he makes such sounds. It’s not that he doesn’t like the groans and grunts and dirty talk, because he does. But he likes this too.
He pulls his hand away and Kenny jerks, whimpers, his fingers twitch against the bedspread. He doesn't seem to calm, really, and Kyle knows his actions have infiltrated Kenny's dreams.
OR
Kenny keeps trying to convince Kyle to wake him up with sex, and despite Kyle's hesitance, the opportunity presents itself.

Regulus wakes up retching, before being sick over the side of his bed. His mouth tastes like rotten, stagnant water, his head is pounding, and his lungs ache. When he closes his eyes, he sees his dream once more. Himself, on a small island in the middle of a lake, only a few years older than he is now, and yet aged by decades.
It’s just a dream. Regulus knows that. Even still, he can tell there’s something wrong with the locket Kreacher clutches. Something ominous. Something terrifying.
He knows it the same way he knows, despite waking up beforehand every night, that his dream self dies in that cave.*
Or, Regulus Black is fourteen years old when he remembers his future death.

At the moment the Handmaid's youngest self was leaping through the windows of Scratch's mansion, blissfully unaware of the futility of her actions, while her oldest self was fighting and dying against the Condesce.
She was going to die. She accepted that, welcomed it. But that fury of rebellion from her youth, which Scratch had thought he had beaten out of her, remained. That part of her that demanded she throw chairs and raise her middle finger at any and all opportunity. It remained, nothing more than a spark, and now looking upon the last of her wayward cross-dimensional companions the Handmaid decided to indulge the urge in her final moments. The last clarion call, a final fuck you to her masters.
She liked that.
