Summary
Poetry is the manifestations of the will to encourage... like the battle drums, like the low rumbling before the storm.
Going up and down and back up again… and finally, back down, she mused, was as ridiculous as a game of snakes and ladders. Her mind drifted back to that fleeting moment in her childhood. Aether had sat across from her, giggling madly, his piece now firmly in the lead at the row of squares two above her. He always managed to avoid the snakes! It wasn’t fair! Why was she the only one who slid down and climbed up and did it over and over and over again only for him to keep on the same path, steadily climbing until he won the game!?
A win for me is a win for you, silly sister of mine.
The coo in Aether’s young voice lifted her spirits as it reverberated through her mind. In her memories, he was always joyful, always content, always hopeful. She hoped… no… She wished beyond all wishes that somewhere deep inside, he still held that spark.
“As long as you’re with Venti… As long as you win this game, Aether… I’ll climb to the end. No matter how many times I fall. Without fail.”

“Let’s say that Guizhong reappeared by some miracle, and that you met again. That would be wonderful, wouldn’t it? You’d be over the moon, wouldn’t you?”“I suppose that I would be shocked, but overjoyed at her return,” Zhongli replied after a moment of reflection. “But what is the catch here?”
“The catch?” Venti wheezed, a sob shaking him as he tried to breathe. “She doesn’t remember you. None of your time together. No memories of what you ever said or did together. You’re just another person she’s just met on her journey.”
It wasn’t her fault that she couldn’t remember him. Aether had forgotten so much of his childhood as well. It wasn’t either of their faults. It wasn’t his either.
They had all been dealt a horrifically hilarious joke of a life to live.

Summary
Of all the people Lumine could have fallen in love with, it had to be the God of Wind. The same God of Wind who, in a span of 2600 years, had never shown any inclination to take a lover. There was no reason to assume she could be the first - after all, no one who was interested in a relationship would go two and a half millenia without. But Lumine was fine with it. Like, super fine. Really. Nothing to see here.
Of all the people Lumine could have fallen in love with, it had to be the God of Wind. The same God of Wind who, in a span of 2600 years, had learned enough about humans to tell when someone was absolutely not fine.

Summary
Being the outcast of the Seven was never easy. Neither was being judged for his drinking habits, or thought by others to take everything for granted, not deserving his position between the Seven.
But what helped was that they never pronounced those thoughts aloud, so Barbatos could act as if he never noticed the cold stares, the judging looks. That was until he came in late to one of their most important meeting.
So what happens when Barbatos goes missing, and the only sign that he is alive is the slow and steady beating of his gnosis, connected to the other archons'?
Or an AU where the Original Seven are still alive and never died, and judge Barbatos too harshly. But we still love them.
PS: as of the 2.6 update, which is the time I started writing this fanfic, we know nothing of the former archons thus why they might be ooc, but for the sake of the story, we're going to ignore it. I just changed the name of the Dendro Archon to her original one because, for those who will see this in the future, this fanfic wasn't posted when 3.0 came out, so it was easy for me to just put Rukkhadevata instead of Kusanali.
