Summary
Dabi doesn’t take kindly to being ignored. He can’t say he’s been stood up, because Hawks hadn’t confirmed their meeting, but it’s out of character for him all the same. After three unanswered texts, Dabi finds himself at Hawks’ apartment. “Hey…Birdie.” he calls out. The lights are out in every room and it’s not even late—maybe he’s not even home. Maybe he’s—and then he sees the lump on the couch.
"Oh," Hawks croaks out dumbly, turning to muffle a cough into the blankets. "Sorry," he pauses to sniffle, "Haven'dt been check'igg mby phone. Thigk it's dead. Gimme uh...a day or two and then I can meet up with you for more intel."
Or: Dabi gets annoyed when Hawks blows him off so he shows up to the hero's apartment to give him a piece of his mind. Except he finds out that it's because Hawks it sick....oh fuck.

Summary
When Hawks doesn't show up to their meeting, Dabi is pissed and shows up at his apartment unannounced and prepared to tear the man a new one. Once he realizes Hawks is very sick, his attitude changes and he takes pity on the overworked hero.

Summary
Hawks, in all of his keen intellect and impressive observation skills, has come to a conclusion. Dabi has a sneeze kink. In order to test out his theory and attempt to rile the villain up, Hawks goes and gets himself sick. Except it ends up being a bit worse than he'd intended. Dabi is exasperated but also not about to leave Hawks all on his own.
