When Midoriya replied again, he sounded close to hysterical. “He found me again. Kacchan, I- I’m scared.”
“Where are you?” Bakugou said, voice level.
“I- I can’t!” Midoriya sobbed. “He- He’s here. I’m sorry, Kacchan.”
“Izuku?” Bakugou barked. There was no response. “Izuku!”
The line went dead.
“Shit!” Bakugou raged, throwing his phone into the sofa. “SHIT!”
“Bakugou, calm down.” Shouta exclaimed sharply. “Tell me everything you know. This could be life or death.”
Bakugou let out a strangled scream. “I don’t know! Some bastard followed Izuku around when we were in middle school! He was a fucking weirdo! And after a while-”
“Bakugou?”
“...Tsumugi went missing.” Bakugou whispered, face pale and eyes wide. “Fuck.”

Midoriya Izuku is found alive on November 30th, after three months of being presumed dead. This is the aftermath.

Shouto knew that there had to be something more to life than the life that he was living. Shouto could hear children laughing from beyond of the fence of the backyard and wonder why he couldn't be happy like them? All Shouto wanted to do was behave so that he would not get into more trouble. He longed for someone to save him like he saw All Might do in the cartoons that he would get in trouble with his dad if he was caught watching. There had to be more...
The first chapter captures a brief insight of what life was like for Shouto when he was trapped with Enji and Rei. The following chapters follow Shouto's recovery as he learns what love is from his new family.
This fic is a rewrite of the first fic in the series "Fragments" in Shouto's POV.

"I understand that you probably don't want to talk about it," Sensei starts "but in order to catch the people who did this to you, we need your statement"
And Aizawa's right. Shouto does NOT want to talk about it. He doesn't want to think about it. He doesn't want to recall what he went through. He keeps his mind blank for a reason. That action alone is keeping him alive. He'll lose it if he lets it go now.
He doesn't even bother with the rest of what his teacher said. Shouto knew that they escaped. He should probably be worried abouth them coming back but he doesn't think there's anything left for them to do that hasn't been done to him already. For now at least.
Shouto wonders how much his teacher has managed to discover about what happend. Probably enough to scratch the surface, but still, Shouto needs to know. Just how much does Aizawa know?

Sero wakes up by inches.
He’s too hot. That’s the first thing he notices. He’s soaked in sweat, and the heat pressing in on him is practically a physical thing — a humid fist clenched around his body, squeezing the air from him with every gasping breath he tries to take.
He can’t move. That’s the second thing.
A weekend mall trip becomes a fight for survival when Sero and five of his classmates are kidnapped. Sedated and restrained, they are unable to free themselves when the truck transporting them crashes, leaving them stranded inside under the midday sun. With the temperature rising and no way to call for help, they struggle against time and their own deteriorating conditions as they try to get out alive.
