She and Alan continue exploring the island, looking for a way to contact those whom they miss so dearly, especially Ian. Along the way, they find and flee from a previously unseen variety of T. rex. When they find a room full of raptor restraints, Ellie learns how freeing it can feel to submit to the one you love.

Jurassic Park 3 broke my heart! I wrote this to cope. AU where JP3 is literally only a nightmare. Part fluff, part smut, part retcon..... mostly art therapy.
July, 2001. Alan and Ellie find a pair of Deinonychus skeletons that died while mating, and sneak off for some mating of their own. When they return, they are confronted by part of Ellie's past that she'd hoped was behind her forever. It's enough to give Alan the worst nightmare of his life, a nightmare of a life without Ellie.

Summary
Alan's still getting used to waking up next to a dinosaur, and is coming to terms with being physically addicted to raptor sex. A Spinosaurus wanders by, acting like a real animal, while Alan remembers an old nightmare in which it acted like a monster. Those other raptors show back up to engage in voyeurism/exhibitionism and the female tries to molest Alan. Just another morning on Isla Sorna.

Awakened by a sudden rain storm, Alan and Ellie are forced to find shelter in the jungle. When they accidentally wander back into the territory of the alpha male raptor who previously tried to force himself on Ellie, her fury at the other raptor manages to terrify both Alan and herself.
Ellie is still a Velociraptor. Alan wishes he'd been changed instead. But they both know that, right now, she's the only reason either are even alive...
Copious references to their Columbian adventures from the Raptor/Raptors Attack/Raptors Hijack comics, which I really love.

Another chapter in my "Changes" timeline. Ellie is still coming to terms with being a predatory creature, having not been able to stomach meat at all after that trip to Nublar more than 20 years ago. This story begins and ends with sex, as Velociraptors are very sexual creatures, and mating with them can be quite addictive.
