The woman, Dadan, sighs and blows out a smoke. Can she smoke around kids like that? "It's when the younger of the two soulmates is sixteen, they switch and be in each others bodies."
"Okay, but what's a soulmate?"
"It's the one who's going to love you, or in this case Ace, for the rest of their life. They're chosen for each other."
Luffy turns to him, face showing nothing and eyes staring into his soul. He should be used to that look since he got it this morning, but the shills he felt running down his neck burning into his skin, was a warning. It was a warning to him. "You promise to love Ace no matter what?"
