Summary
Yang Jungwon doesn’t mean to have his gay awakening because of his best friend, Nishimura Riki.
It just happens after one kiss. Fair enough. He can easily move on.
(Moving on would be easy if there wasn’t for The Problem™️: it does not stop after the first kiss.)

Summary
“It’s good that you came back, Jungwon,” Heeseung says eventually. “You’ve been missed around here.”
You’ve been missed. Not I’ve missed you, not I’m glad you came back. It’s good that he’s here, but Heeseung won’t tell him why. Someone has missed him, but Heeseung won’t tell him who.
or, Jungwon, forced to return to the house and the boy that he swore he'd leave behind forever, reckons with all the ghosts that still haunt them both.

Summary
The mass of dark colors blends into the stumps of the trees. It’s four seconds of strange shifting until anything starts to come into the light. Jake counts every breath he lets out and how long it lasts in between.
Inhale. Two, three, four. Exhale. Two, three, four. Inhale.
“Jake! Are you still there, man? Are you okay?”
A leg, long and lithe, steps out onto the field.
Jake is met with familiar eyes. Eyes he knows all too well— the same pair of eyes he watched flutter shut last night, fading into the empty air like candlelight snuffed out by the oncoming breeze.
It’s a deer. It’s the deer.
What the fuck?

Summary
Jay spent a lot of time mulling over ways to ask out Naomi. Knowing what he knows about her and knowing himself, he figures just going up to her and asking her out normally probably isn't the best approach. Either Naomi will find the situation awkward and just laugh it off like no big deal, resulting in the biggest heartbreak of Jay’s life, or Jay somehow fucks it up and says the wrong thing, then runs away to his shared room and cry about it like a fucking pussy, also resulting in the biggest heartbreak of his life.
The best course of action is to obviously take it slow: hang out with her more often one on one, sprinkle in a bit of flirting here and there, then boom! He asks her out, she says yes, and it’s smooth sailing from there on out.
He gives the rundown of his game plan to Sunghoon:
Rule #1: Don’t get distracted.
Failed rule #1.
Or: Jay’s doing everything he can to court his longtime crush of three years, yet he can’t help but get distracted by her pretty guy best friend who just so happens to have a crush on her as well.

Summary
It makes sense that this would happen at a funeral. It makes sense, because Sunghoon is already experiencing one loss – although he’s still not sure if it is actually his loss – so why not add one more? Why not lose his dignity, why not lose this new chapter of his life, the one he’d so carefully crafted for himself, the one that has absolutely nothing to do with Heeseung Lee?
