It dragged him into the room, shoved him against a solid stone wall hard enough that the wall cracked, and mustered up just enough patience to let him undo the straps of his armor without shredding them.
The second his chestplate was off, its patience was up, and it savagely, greedily sank its teeth into the muscle next to his neck, jaws long enough that Gabriel could feel it scraping against his shoulderblade and collarbone. “Fucking impatient, insatiable demon,” he snarled at it.
He wanted to rip his helmet off, return the favor, but he frantically scrabbled for the straps on the rest of his armor. Gabriel wanted the metal off, wanted to be bare for it to bite or claw into wherever it wanted, and he didn’t want to repair the stupid fucking straps again.
