He locks eyes with Connor, and Connor makes a muffled sort of mmphhh sound because there’s a whole lot of boy in his face all of a sudden, close, too close, and eyes on them, but Price is close, and maybe this is a test and maybe he’s dreaming but he’s leaning closer still and Price’s hand slips, grabs his shirt-collar, and they’re kissing.

Brian's first (and main, predominant) thought is that if Patrick Watts is stupid enough to get himself smacked in the face, then he was the man responsible for getting that sorted out. Get your own pack of frozen peas, wad up some toilet paper and hope for the best. Not his circus, not his monkeys.
Brian’s second (minor, much smaller) thought is fuck, unfortunately, this was both his circus and his monkey, and Patrick is bleeding a frankly alarming amount, and it was more than likely to get on something and Patrick, the anal, puzzling man that he was, would probably not like that. And also, he would likely blame Brian for this whole endeavour regardless so Brian might as well pull his socks up and go on the hunt for frozen peas.

If Kevin Price has a crush on Connor, that’s definitely something worth pursuing. Connor is whole-heartedly behind the idea. He hasn’t been as excited about anything since he realised he didn’t actually have to be a Mormon if he didn’t want to be. But he keeps a straight - for lack of a better word - face, and only steals glimpses back. They lock eyes over the dinner table and Connor can’t help the smirk that curls his lips, and doesn’t miss the way Kevin’s face mirrors his.

"Deserve what?" Connor shifts where he lays to get a good look at Kevin. His dark hair is even darker, soaked with water, and Connor watches a few droplets drip from the strands and roll off of his jaw.
He looks beautiful, is all that he manages to think in the moment, even as he tries to shove it down and let it rot away. He can’t.
