She can sense its malevolence feeding off of her resentment, looping back around and fueling her anger in turn, but doesn't even try to differentiate between her own anger and the negative emotions ebbing out of the curse itself. Hermione is fully aware that her face has twisted into a vicious, hateful sneer; she can see how surprised Bellatrix is to see such an expression on her.
