Summary
The day that Steph left Haven Springs, Alex knew that she was doing what she’d always done: running from her feelings. When she never came back, they both moved on. Five years on, Alex has made a life for herself in Haven while Steph is a fully formed, world-famous musician.
For the first time since leaving, Steph goes back to Haven Springs for the holidays. As they reunite, a more mature Steph apologizes for leaving, promising to make it up to Alex by giving her all of her attention for the weekend.
It isn’t until they spend so much time together that they both realize their feelings for each other never quite went away. When the holiday is over, will they go back to their normal lives, or will they discover that this might be the second chance that they didn’t realize they’d been looking for?
