mary loved marlene like the sun loved the stars, it was beautiful but it was also impossible. it was like when the sun fell into the depths of the sky, welcoming the stars with open arms. the sun loved the stars. but she knew the stars couldn't be hers. and for a few moments, they would meet, intertwining, but fading away, making way for the other. and the sun knew the stars would always return to her moon.
