Olive Smith is doing everything she can to ensure Malcolm and Holden's wedding goes off without a hitch. One problem, she hasn't seen the best man, Adam Carlsen, in five years. She was able to handle the limited text conversations they shared during the wedding planning season; however, she isn't certain she can control the chaos in her heart once she is forced to spend time with him in person all these years later.
This is a reimaging/continuation of The Love Hypothesis, in which Olive never confessed her feelings to Adam after they broke up at SBD. Adam accepted the position at Harvard University, and Olive finished her research at UC Berkeley.
