Summary
The Company of Thorin Oakenshield was a group of hardened warriors, master smiths, and shrewd strategists. They could track an Orc for leagues and value a gemstone with a single glance. However, as they trekked across the desolate lands toward the Lonely Mountain, they found themselves facing a challenge more baffling than a dragon’s riddle: the sheer, mountain-sized stupidity of their leader’s heart.
It was no secret to the twelve Dwarves that Thorin was head-over-heels for their Hobbit. He looked at Bilbo when he thought no one was watching with an expression of such soul-aching longing that it made Dwalin want to punch a tree.
The problem was that Bilbo Baggins was actively trying to court him, and Thorin was inadvertently sabotage-ing himself through a haze of oblivious jealousy.

Laying on his death bed, in the last homely home of the elves, the Valar visit Bilbo. Something went wrong, Frodo and Sam failed their task. Bilbo has been charged with going back, back to the very beginning. He is being sent back to his twenty fifth year of age.
OR
Bilbo: dies, time-travels, becomes Mandos’ favorite, pranks half of Rivendell, turns pirate, saves the Nazgûl, and learns combat from Glorfindel.
Gandalf: “What do you mean Belladonna isn’t dead?”
Thorin: “Why is our hobbit terrifying and why is that attractive?”
Nori: “Honey, I’m home!”A fix-it where Bilbo is competent and everyone else is confused.

Summary
Thorin loses his memories due to some accident or other.
He falls for the beautiful blond by his bedside at first sight but is promptly heartbroken to learn the hobbit (as he explains he is) is married! And to a dwarf no less! But surely no dwarf could be superior to their king, Thorin just needs to prove as much to Bilbo.
(Inspired by a fic I can’t find but absolutely love where Thorin tries to fight Bilbo’s husband without realising it’s himself)
