Summary
Suguru knows it’s been awhile since his last rendezvous with Satoru, but surely his best friend would have mentioned a life update as significant as dating a monkey. One who was, in fact, still in middle school! What the hell?
Both Satoru and Yuuji go back in time to November 2016. For the sake of preserving the timeline, they try to act normally but it really doesn’t work out.
Meanwhile, Suguru tries to stage an intervention for his best friend despite being one of jujutsu society’s most wanted.

"When is perhaps more accurate," Sukuna said, rising to his feet with fluid grace. Even seated, he had been imposing; standing, he dominated the small space entirely. "We appear to be in the year 1005, if my calculations are correct. The Heian period, specifically during the reign of Emperor Ichijō."
Yuji stared at him. "How are you—why aren't you—"
"Inside your empty head?" Sukuna's mouth curved in what might have been amusement. "An excellent question. It seems whatever brought us here has given me my own form once again."
