“Tim lives an unusual life, not only due to the colors that fill his vision and the unfamiliar emotions that wrap around him, but due to his knowledge of one secret many people in Gotham would kill to know: Bruce Wayne is The Batman, and The Batman is Tim Drake’s next door neighbor.
His life is colored with infatuation the moment he sees Dick as Robin on TV for the first time. His life that was so dull just years ago is now full of anticipation, danger, and community.
Tim Drake is Robin, and he is not a meta. He’s not sure exactly what he is. The uncertainty keeps him up at night, along with numerous cases and grievances.
It’s not easy, and the seemingly positive gift of empathy to this extreme has only proven itself to hurt after all this time.

Cigarettes were a recurring item in his life. His father used to step out during light arguments with his mother for a ‘smoke break’ and return with an apologetic look. The old man at the corner store with kind eyes and a crooked smile often held a cigarette in his hand or patted the pack of cigarettes in his pocket as a nervous fidget. The pack of kids that first taught Billy to trust his instincts, who taught him when to run and hide, stole packs out of the back pockets and bags of adults. When Billy would shift his feet or look longingly at restaurants and at the people who were eating while walking by, they would offer out a clenched hand holding a cigarette. They told him it’ll ease his appetite. ”

One moment, Red Hood was fighting with Black Mask, listening to the idiot go on about how he'd murder Jason long before he'd become a problem. The next... Jason was ten years in the past, nine-years-old, and fending for himself on the streets of Gotham. Bruce might not know about Jason yet in the timeline, but Batman was the only one who could protect him against Black Mask.
If only Jason didn't hate him so much...

Summary
The Upside Down isn't the only alternate universe the party has to worry about it seems. When something inexplainable happens during a game of D&D, Will is replaced by... Will? Will the Wise appears before everyone, confused on why his friends are wearing such strange garbs and what dungeon he has stumbled into. Meanwhile, Will finds himself surrounded by fantastical versions of his friends clad in armor and robes somewhere far, far from Hawkins. The party now has a new mission to figure out how to get their Wills switched back around, and Mike needs to figure out what this feeling in his chest is all about.

If Will had a nickel every time he was transported into an alternate reality that had some similarities to his normal reality, he'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot, but its weird that it happened twice, right?

Steve wants to say he gets it, but he doesn’t think that’s the gentlest way to start this. I get it, Kid. He only fed me eggs. I couldn’t look at them for months. At least he was fed at all. He doesn’t know a thing about what Will survived, just the bits and pieces that float around town like the rumors that usually concern the exponentially more menial. Someone’s grandma died. Some senior turned up pregnant.
Steve inhales, sharply. Thinks about who he was before and after Denver. Thinks about who everyone expected him to be. His mouth opens before he can consider if he wants to stop it. “You know, my name’s not really Steve.”
