“You should marry my Izu-chan,” Joke continues, obviously warming to the subject as she straightens up with a face-splitting grin.  “Just think, you can be my son-in-law!”

“Absolutely not,” Shōta resists the urge to gag at the very idea.

“Don’t be like that,” Joke reaches out to bat at the air in front of Shōta’s face.  “My sweet Izu-chan is the best!  You two would make the perfect couple.”

He resists the urge to snap his teeth at her fingers only by the fact that he’s spent years refusing to have any part of Joke in his mouth and he’s not about to ruin that streak now.

“One, your bloodline is cursed,” Shōta replies.  “Two, I neither want nor need a child bride.”

Fantastic little romantic comedy. A quick, snappy, lovely read that had me genuinely laughing and smiling.

One of my favorites of the "Izuku has (a quirk similar to) All for One" genre. Big time Spirited Away feelings.

Katsuki was going to do everything in his power to make sure that his boyfriend didn’t realise that he had been struck by an amnesia quirk. He didn’t want to plant a single ounce of worry in the nerd’s pretty little head.

The biggest problem with this extremely well conceived plan?

    Katsuki didn’t have a boyfriend.

Perfectly delivers on the promise of the premise. Got some good belly laughs out of me too.

    Summary

Izuku's quirk is simple, it tells him exactly what he needs to do.
It tells him to grab an umbrella and that afternoon it rains unexpectedly. It tells him to bring cash and it turns out the card reader is out of order.
His quirk tells him to rob a bank.
    Well, why not?
    - - -
Does the name All for One mean anything to Izuku? Nope.
Will he tear down the empire of a powerful villain who has been terrorizing Japan for over a century anyway? Sure.

Truly the most romantic, hilarious, and charming story I've read in at least a year. A gold standard for adventure romcoms across the board. It's packed full to bursting with clever, snappy banter (that calls back to earlier banter, which calls back to even earlier banter) so we can watch the romantic leads slowly build up a rapport of silly inside jokes and progressively-more-daring flirtation. Even more than that, I was blown away by the consistency of the narrative tone, bursting as it was with vivid internal characterization. The tension, as well, was expertly crafted. It's so rare that slowburns can hold me in a death grip for so long, and this one did entirely. An absolute must for re-reading.
