Summary
Derek's sitting on the floor, not too far from the door. Close enough that he can reach the knob without moving. He's wearing one of his mom's old pregnancy sweatshirt, the one she'd given him as comfort-wear when his usual henley's stopped fitting as perfectly as before. He's also wearing nothing else beneath it, except for boxers Stiles can see peeking through this angle, as Derek's back is facing him, his face turned towards Stiles.
Derek's lips are lined with chocolate. Stiles' lips twitch.
"Hey."
"Hey," Derek says, taking a bite out of chocolate-covered-strawberry. Oh, so he's got a whole set-up. There's marshmallows as well.

Summary
Derek doesn't reply. Instead, he fakes rummaging around in his pants, which are bit tight to comfortably rummage in, but he does the act for his audience of one. Nothing comes out of his pockets when he removes his hands, and Stiles' eyes follow them when Derek brings them both near his lips, blows a kiss onto them.
"Here, my love for you. The power of this addiction will help you through this trial."
It's the silliest thing he's ever done in his life.

"I'm glad you found me," Derek whispers against his skin, their closeness new but centuries old. Stiles' spit-pink lips glisten under the moonlight, his heart jumps with joy. He strokes Derek's back, the henley warm to the touch, despite the slightly chilly wind.
"When am I ever wrong?"
Another smile, a soft curve up of the lips. He knows how the taste and feel of them, now. "Never." The word is punctuated by a kiss on his nose, followed by a peck on his lips.

That he is going to die. There’s no coming back, no cure for this sudden illness that has taken him. None of the books that Deaton provides, that Lydia translates and pours her time into, have a single clue.

Summary
Stiles and Derek meet each other before they can even talk. With Claudia being the Hale family Emissary, Stiles spends most of his time with the Hales. Stiles and Derek are immediately inseparable. Stiles learns early on that his magic reacts to Derek more than anyone else and because of that he is able to shift into a fox and go on adventures with Derek. Those adventures aren't always safe but one thing is certain, they'll always look out for each other.

Summary
For the record, Derek is not stalking Stiles. He's just being protective, standing guard outside his bedroom window every night like the world's okayest watchdog. For the most part, it's relatively uneventful. Until one night, Derek catches Stiles performing a one-man concert to the tune of Taylor Swift's Love Story, with some very interesting lyrical changes.
"I thought I heard—" Derek starts, adrenaline giving way to embarrassment. "Nevermind. Sorry. I'll go."
"You thought you heard what?" Stiles prompts, one eyebrow cocked in mocking familiarity.
"I…heard you singing," Derek says softly, gaze cast to the ceiling so that he doesn't have to look Stiles in the eye.
"So? That's hardly a cause for concern," Stiles snaps defensively. "What, a man can't enjoy a good pop-country love ballad every once in a while?"
"No, it's not that. It's just—" Derek falters. "I thought I heard you say my name."
"What?! I didn't say your name!" Stiles splutters, voice rising an octave.
And that's when he hears it, the telltale skip in his heartbeat as Stiles chokes around the obvious lie.
