Summary
After the doctor hurts Rio, a freshly-orphaned Viktor is taken in at The Last Drop. Years later, there's a riot on the bridge. When Silco doesn't return, Viktor sets out to find him — only to witness one father trying to drown the other.
In which child-Viktor refuses to abandon Silco; an act of devotion that changes the trajectory of Zaun's uprising. While Vander negotiates with Enforcers, Silco builds an empire in the dark. Someone has to fund his son's endless charity work. Send the kids to school. Cure Grey Lung in a decade. Single-parenting a revolution is hard.
There's siblings-of-divorce, waverider eggs, volatile crystals...and a Piltie wandering around the Lanes looking for blue gems and a ghost.

“Can I tell you a secret?” Jayce whispers in the mermaid’s marble ear, just to be extra safe. He has to stand on his tippy-toes to reach her. This way he can avoid any chances of someone overhearing his most closely guarded secret.
“I’m not having professional thoughts.”
She stares blankly ahead.
“About Viktor,” Jayce clarifies when the statue does not react. “My lab partner.”

Jayce realizes he's horny for Viktor. Which is fine, really. He's managing. But after Viktor doesn't join him at the Piltover Academy End of Year Ball, Jayce has one-too-many drinks and ends up trashed. Which is also fine.
Until it's not. Because Viktor shows up after all. Surely the Boys of Progress can keep it together? (And if they can't, you can bet there's gonna be lots of secret mutual pining and drunken chaos until they get their shit together)

Won't ever give Sevika the reason of why she even fucking tries.
Because Isha is dead.
And there’s nothing she can do about it.
Her breath grows laboured, her fingers shaking as if she just went off Shimmer when she ruffles around her coat for the smokes, she knows she still had some, damnit, but she only finds the lighter, that last gift Silco ever gave her from Finn’s corpse and–
The lighter clatters to the ground and Sevika can't help but follow.
Isha is dead.
And Sevika screams.

Summary
Angels aren't what you think.
When angels fall to Earth, whether released or thrown, those who land in Piltover become powerful while those who land in Zaun break. Jinx was never supposed to end up where she did - still bearing her wings and halo and divinity, she's spent years as the tattooed, pierced, drug-addicted heir to Silco's criminal empire, and she's also ended up as the patron and borderline-goddess of Zaun's most desperate and least loved. She kills rapists in nightclubs, administers last rites to the dishonorably dead, and finds holiness in the damned.
Ekko built a sanctuary to make a second Eden, but when Silco leaves and he tries to bring Jinx back to the light, Ekko winds up having everything he knows about divinity and purity turned on his head as hedonism becomes holy, ending up joining her in 'falling' in a way that makes them the most holy of all.
Sometimes, you have to get your hands dirty and stay in the gutter to be a true servant of God.

“Yeah,” Jayce says, gripping the back of his neck. Viktor notes that Jayce is not far off from the color of a steamed crustacean himself, at the moment. “For the Hexclaw.”

Summary
Viktor had always hoped to be fixed: repaired where possible, defective parts replaced, pain put out of its misery. After that, there would be time to finish the great works he was meant for. When he has to face the reality of his decline, though, Viktor knows he would give up that dream to have Jayce at his side at the end of a good life.
Viktor knows his work could live on long after he is gone. Still, he wants and wants and wants.
(i) Jayce is the Man of Progress. The moniker, Viktor thinks, is almost too on the nose. Jayce has always looked forward, and Viktor doesn’t know how to tell him there’s no more time for long-term plans. (ii) Viktor’s health collapses under the torsions and pressures of surgical revision. Jayce helps him imagine what could exist in the aftermath. (iii) Hope, it turns out, is a kind of demolition. His desire to do good leads him back to the Undercity. In Piltover, Viktor is gutted by grief. His heart might give out before his failing body.
A story in three crises.
