Summary
Tony Stark resigned his commission in Starfleet five years ago, after a disastrous away mission, and he swore he'd never go back. He just wants to be left alone to build warp engines in peace. Yeah. Steve loved many things. Basketball, hockey, brawling. He could cook a couple dozen decent meals. Was slowly accumulating an arsenal of movie quotes. Drew in his spare time. Let Natasha try to teach him ballet. Tony had nearly peed himself laughing that day, watching Steve move with an easy grace that just didn’t make sense. Almost getting it. Not quite though. Hammed it up when he’d caught Tony watching them. Was always glancing back, seeing if Tony was watching. Natasha had caught his eye. He’d been unable to look away.
Natasha alone knew.
Tony loved Steve… and Steve didn’t love him. And that was okay. Really.
