For the first time since he’d entered the workforce, Nanami dragged his feet up to his apartment. He would find no comfort in his home tonight, not with such an exuberant show of Gojo Satoru’s power. He sighed, leaning his head back on the elevator mirror. I thought I left him behind too. A foolish thought. Gojo had been the one to allow him to walk away, and Nanami had hoped that would be a permanent arrangement.
Or: Gojo is left incapacitated after a particular curse effect, and Nanami is the one he can trust to take care of him. If only Nanami wasn't trying to put distance between them. And what was that about the kids?
