Ivan’s eyes glitter when he lifts the card to the light. “Can you believe this?”
Lovro scoffs in place of words. He doesn’t think he can muster them, anyway, in the condition he’s in. He knows the real promise of all this: privacy. Oh, precious, precious privacy.
“You have your stuff?”
“All of it, everything,” Ivan agrees, meaningfully. Lovro rolls his eyes to cover the flush.
“Come on, then, we’re on the fifth floor.” Lovro extricates himself from the quicksand confines of the pillowy armchair. His heart is beating quicker than he can believe. “Let’s go.”

Summary
Jaehyun unexpectedly goes into heat for the first time, and Johnny is there to support him in all ways. It's maybe the push the two need to finally confront their years of subtle glances and barely kept secret yearning.
Jaehyun knows that his eyes were bound to drift closed like this anyway, but there’s a more profound yearning in Jaehyun’s core that makes him want to do so just because Johnny told him to. He wants to do what will make Johnny happy. As he sits there, breathing in the soft scent of Johnny’s warmth while trying to ignore how hot he’s starting to feel again, Jaehyun’s mind goes blissfully blank until Johnny’s hand begins to slide up and down his leg in a gesture meant to be calming. Jaehyun hums contentedly at the touch, but then an image flashes in Jaehyun’s brain of Johnny doing this to Jaehyun’s bare legs—Johnny running a hand up Jaehyun’s thigh to spread his legs for him on a bed.
