“Yeah, well, don’t ask me why,” Ace shrugged sharply. “He shouldn’t.”
“He shouldn’t,” Nika agreed. “But he does. Because you’re cool and awesome, as I’ve been repeatedly told.”
Or: Nika is a separate entity connected to the gum gum fruit instead of just being the model of the fruit. how much could that change, really?
