Summary
Zuko is a famous musician. Sokka is a famous hockey player. They meet once, they kiss, they hookup, and they assume that’s it. Just one really good night—until one turns into two, turns into three, turns into they can’t keep track anymore.
They find ways to make time for each other—and this weird relationship they can’t put a label on—while Sokka’s busy playing hockey and Zuko’s busy working on new music. They meet, they kiss, they hookup, and eventually, they talk.

He couldn’t really think, either, beyond the fact that he hadn’t known Sokka was even going to be getting his tattoos on this trip, or that the sight of him standing there with tattoos and a lopsided smile was surely going to kill him.
He realized just how long he had been staring when his eyes flickered up to catch Sokka looking at him with a smug smile and a single eyebrow raised, and he tried desperately to find his words. All that came out, though, was a strained, “You have tattoos.”
or,
Sokka comes back after six months with some new earrings and a whole lot of tattoos, and suddenly Zuko doesn't know how to focus.
