Summary
Rhaenyra Targaryen has spent her entire life with the knowledge- and duty- of being her father’s firstborn child and heir to the Iron Throne. With King Viserys slowly succumbing to the fate of leprosy, Queen Alicent Hightower is running out of time to secure her son's claim to the Iron Throne- and continued life. But the naive prince Aegon ii, at 20 years of age, would rather enjoy the spoils of dragon-blooded royalty: parties, drugs, and sex, than have to shoulder the responsibility of the Seven Kingdoms. He does not yet want to ascend to the throne, and he never truly has- after all, what kind of brother steals his sister's throne?
Would it not be better to steal something else, like her heart, instead?
*** this is going to be written in a similar style to the ASOIAF books as I'm currently reading them and this is a telling in my own way but it wont be totally lore accurate and combine the show and book cannon along with my own fannon :) enjoy
