Summary
In Ethan’s defense, he didn’t want to be Ghostface. All he really wanted was a normal year at Uni, to stop blacking out all the time and slowly cease his mourning for Richie and mother.
However, when his brother’s survivors move to his city, his sister and father have different plans. So Ethan takes up the mask of Ghostface and begins infiltrating “the core four”, meeting Chad Meeks-Martin in the process.
But the mixture of his grief, desire to be loved and fear of himself conflict within him. As repressed feelings start to uprise, Ethan realizes that Chad is friendly, kind and takes more notice of him than anyone else has in his whole life. Yet his loyalty to his family remains strong – if he can kill the core four and get away with it, he may finally fill in the blood-soaked shoes Richie left behind and appease his father.OR

Up until this point, he could still deny this was happening at all. It’s like if Chad didn’t actually look at him, it wouldn’t be true. But there was no denying it now.

A new bad guy, armed with technology capable of suppressing Spider-Man's powers, appears on the streets of Queens. Peter doesn't realise how much danger he's in until it's too late.
Tony Stark has no idea how he got here, mentoring a super-teenager he's not remotely related to, May wants some peace and stability for her and her nephew, Ned thinks this part of being Spider-Man is way less so not cool, and MJ just wants to keep holding Peter's hand. Peter loves his weird little family, and really, really likes his healing factor... when it works.
OR; Tony does a lot of watching other people hold the Spider-Kid, + a few times he holds Peter too (and Peter holds him back).
