Summary
Matthew was sick of living in Alfred's shadow, his own twin brother who would forget he existed in a heartbeat. Matthew's whole life had been spent tucked away behind his warmly beloved brother, soaking up all the warmth so Matthew was left with nothing but bone-deep cold. No matter how hard he tried, he was never enough and never measured up. A lifetime of neglect had taken its toll and left him empty and bitter. When a child is abandoned by a village, he will burn it down just to feel the warmth. He knew it was wrong, but it felt so so good to chase the warmth. Once he started he couldn't stop. He was spiraling into chaos and with each escalation, he couldn't help but feel comfort in the terror he brought.
Or, Matthew unintentionally intentionally becomes a prolific serial killer, unintentionally intentionally disrupting the life of his twin brother and all his friends as he starts on a path of destruction.

In hindsight, that version of me was an idiot, but you see—" Cale cast a ferocious glare on him, a shame that using the Dominating Aura on a patient with heart disease would violate the doctor’s code of ethics (not like he was afraid of using it, of course). “Yeah, okay. Fine. Straight up? I have a bomb.” Have? “And it's gonna explode. Like, right now.”
A beat.
“Tony, what—?!”
Then it fucking exploded.
