Summary
After Arthur disobeyed his father and retrieved the Mortaeus flower for Merlin's cure, Arthur's frantic pleading to save Merlin led to a misunderstanding that actually convinced Uther to take the flower to Gaius.
Now all Arthur has to do is explain to Merlin why Uther thinks they are lovers.
And while Uther is supportive of the relationship, he requires it kept secret. But in his paranoia, Uther misinterprets every innocent interaction between the two as something far more intimate, to the embarrassment of everyone involved.
And then the knights begin showing up...
Update 27/04/2024: This is long and in-process. So consider a break between story arcs!
Arc 1 - (chapters 1-32, 90k words) What happens when you accidentally tell your father you're gay and in love with Merlin and he ships it hard? You make it true.
Arc 2 - (chapters 33-70, 110k words) What happens when your father sends you to court someone you have no interest in? Side quests and Gwaine.
Arc 3 - (chapters 71+, in progress) What happens when your father invites every eligible woman to Camelot so you can find your wife like you promised in exchange for saving Merlin? Chaos. -
Summary
The National Institute for Covert Defence (NICD) is an agency established by the Crown in 1934 for the purpose of defending the United Kingdom from her enemies, in collaboration with other services directed by the Joint Intelligence Committee. Based in various locations around the UK, operations are conducted into both domestic and international affairs. Primary responsibilities include surveillance, espionage and counter-terrorism. All employees are under the Official Secrets Act and all information held by the agency is exempt from disclosure under section 23 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Although it is nominally under the judicial oversight of the Investigatory Powers Tribunal, in practice it is allowed a great amount of freedom outside the law to conduct affairs. The agency has been headed by Director General Sir Uther Pendragon since 2003.
Leon and Merlin, formerly Special Agents Lionel Gaunnes (code name Knight) and Myrddin Wyllt (code name Emrys) of the NICD, are currently on the run from the agency, charges of treason and a lifetime's worth of trauma snapping at their heels. This is the story of their lives.

Summary

Summary
The trip to the Disir ends differently. Instead of Merlin suffering in his silence when Arthur makes his decision, the goddess and the Disir take magic from Camelot. They take the heart of Camelot and give the King a chance to learn what magic has done for him and his kingdom. A year to learn or Merlin will remain as he is.

Summary
Merlin has failed he can't stop the inevitable until he can. If fate is going to play with him he will play with it. This isn't oven yet, Arthur is worth all of what he will do.
Or
Merlin challenges fate to give his friends a choice, a choice to end it all if they are willing to learn their and his mistakes.

In October 2023 Tony Stark says “I am Iron Man” and snaps his fingers before he dies. A few seconds later cameras are flashing in his face and people want him to elaborate on the statement. It’s November 2009 after all, and the people have questions.
All violence is typical of canon, also this is gonna have a happy ending so no major character deaths of MY protagonists, just some people who are protagonists in canon. 😘
