Summary
It was easy to forget. The two were polar opposites in every possible way. Diluc was broad shouldered and muscular while Kaeya was slimmer and more lithe. A mane of wavy red hair compared to sleek dark blue locks. A stoic, introverted personality shining with honesty and a flirty, mischievous one shrouded with deception. And of course, the most glaringly obvious of all: Diluc’s pale complexion compared to Kaeya’s naturally tanned one. Who in their right mind would look at the pair and think ‘brothers’?
So, the nun clearly could not see, and for good reason.
Regardless, Diluc found himself speaking again.
“Can’t you see the family resemblance?”

While they're talking, Cater, who's also in the library, mentions a small detail he's recently been thinking about, causing the students who were talking to stop and think about what the Junior said. However, they barely have time to respond to what he said, since someone else has overheard the conversation, and they're not very happy, to say the least...

Summary

She is trying to figure out how to survive the rest of her 'free' life. Then, she moved away from the town, to the city, to get a job as a mechanic at the most prestigious academic institution. One day, Professor Talis noticed his students had turned in geniuses with their homework for his class. He discovered the phantom behind the change and invited her for a chat. And Vi met his sister.
This is a story of starting a new life, leaving the past behind. It is sad, and will hurt from time to time. This story is slightly inspired by 'Good Will Hunting'.
I will only continue writing this story if I get enough encouragement and engagement from the readers. When readers stop, I stop too, no kidding.

His fosters were dirty and loud and the kids in the home were obnoxious on a good day. Good days didn't happen often anyways, typically it was that paired with a beating. God. He was so tired.

"And in your future... the one you came from..." Vi swallowed hard, surprised by how badly she wanted to know, leaning forward until their knees pressed firmly together, until she could see flecks of silver in Caitlyn's blue eye. "What were we?"
Caitlyn's smile was radiant. "Do you really want to know?"
Vi nodded, unable to look away, drawn into the orbit of this woman who knew her in ways she couldn't comprehend, her defenses lowering like walls crumbling to dust.
"Like I said, we were partners. Both during work and out of. We love each other." Caitlyn said it so simply, like she was saying the sky was blue, but her eyes never left Vi's, watching her reaction with a tenderness that made Vi's breath catch.
Vi felt heat creeping up her neck, a flush spreading across her cheeks like wildfire. "We were... together?" The question hung in the air between them, fragile and momentous.
"Five years," Caitlyn confirmed, voice softening further.
