“Leaving so soon?” He croaks, bringing the cigarette to his lips and taking a long, suspenseful drag. “I’ve been expecting you.”
Xiao Zhan has the decency to drop the deer-in-headlights act. A wolf in sheep’s clothing must relinquish its hubris, and he fancies his way too much for that. Spinning on his heels, he leans against the wall, facing Yibo, arms crossed over his chest.
“As you know, that’s what I do best.” He shrugs in jest, stifling a laugh. “Can you keep up?”
Yibo arches a brow. “I’m here, aren’t I?”
